There were thirty-one (31) Palawan scholars out of 37 Anihan graduates who successfully finished the Quick Service Restaurant Operations (QSRO) Program last January 31, 2025, Friday, held at the Multipurpose Hall of Anihan. Anihan’s industry partners, donors, sponsors, and mentors graced the event.
Anihan was grateful for the presence of Hon. Victorino Dennis M. Socrates, governor of the Provincial Government of Palawan since 2022, who was delighted to see the province’s first batch of scholars in this milestone in their lives. He gave a message to the graduates, citing the value of the opportunity they were given to study and receive culinary training for free. Some parents of the graduates managed to come all the way from Palawan just to attend the graduation. Of the 36, six hail from the Calabarzon region. Meanwhile, Anihan was also fortunate to have Ms. Maria Inez Margarita J. Gamboa, Chief Operations Officer, of Vargas Kitchen, as our Guest Speaker.
Loisa O. Bacosa, a trainee of Sweet Success, a pastry shop located in Manila, gave the Address on behalf of the Graduating Class of 2025. She is from Sofronio Espanola, Palawan. Loisa is awarded a Technical-Vocational Excellence Award together with the following graduates: Edriane Jane T. Aban, Alexa Jeel B. Abello, Ivan Cooline U. Aresta, Ma. Cassandra G. Laurente, Ma. Rejina A. Palacpac, Zyd Zyry L. Pultino, and Ria P. Tabug.
