Anihan was honored to have Cong. Cha Hernandez of the Lone District of Calamba City, Laguna attend the graduation rites of her Calambeño scholars here in Anihan last February 25, 2025, Tuesday.
Cong. Cha’s office supported seventy-five (75) students who studied Bread and Pastry Production (BPP) and who all consequently passed the National Certificate Level II assessments conducted late last year 2024 till January of this year 2025.
There were 50 scholars from the Culinary Arts and Restaurant Services (CARS) Program and 25 scholars from the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) who all came together to receive their respective certificates of completion from Cong. Cha herself.
Cong. Cha addressed all her scholars by saying that she is happy to see them all finish their Bread and Pastry course, and she hopes that they will all put the training they received to good use. She also said that her office will continue to look for sponsorships from the local government, even deepening her network among party-list representatives in Congress, just to promote schools like Anihan. She said she believes in the good that technical-vocational education contributes to society.
Anihan School Director, Ma. Rowena I. Nazareno, thanked Cong. Cha for the all-out support the school has been receiving from her office for some years now.
