Fifty-four (54) young women scholars graduated from Anihan’s Quick Service Restaurant Operations (QSRO) Program last August 16, 2024, Friday, with a well-attended set of sponsors and benefactors from Anihan’s partner foundations and food service establishments.
Ms. Mary Rose B. Dela Rosa, Sous Chef at the Fiddle Leaf Restaurant and Bar, was our Alumna Guest Speaker for this year’s QSRO graduation.
Chef Hans Neukom, Executive Chef at The Palms Country Club, also gave an inspiring message to the graduates. Chef Hans has already seen several batches of Anihan students who got to train under him, and he challenged the graduates to maintain a high level of professionalism and good attitude towards work. He said that that is what sets an Anihan graduate apart from other employees who work with them.
Francese Angel Conde, one of our Technical-Vocational Excellence Awardees and a trainee at The Palms Country Club, gave the Address on behalf of her batchmates.
The partner foundations of Anihan present at the 37th Commencement Exercises were Adamson University Cocofed Scholars Alumni Association Foundation, Inc. (ADUCSAFI), SM Foundation, LAO Foundation, Inc., FEU Foundation, Jollibee Group Foundation, and Marubeni Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (MSFI). The partner food and beverage establishments present were The Palms Country Club, Sta. Elena Golf and Country Club, and Linang Center.
All 54 graduates from the QSRO program have started working in various food service establishments soon after their graduation. Congratulations, Chervil and Lavender, QSRO Batch 5!
