The Palms Country Club, one of Anihan’s long-time industry partners, accommodated three of its faculty members in the first three weeks of May 2025 for work immersion and intensive training. This was part of the annual professional development plan for Anihan’s skills teachers facilitated for the school by Ms. Maria Senen L. Olmos, Anihan Vice-Director for Industry Linkage and Alumnae Affairs. Thanks to the support of Chef Hans Neukom, the Palms’ Executive Chef, and the entire Human Resource Department led by Ms. Nikki Anne P. Encarnacion, for making this work immersion possible.
Ms. Kristine Ann Guevarra, Ms. Chris Leron, and Ms. Rose Ann Villanueva who are national certificate level II holders in Bread and Pastry Production, Cookery and Food & Beverage Services, had the chance to work at the F&B and Central Kitchen departments. They received work assignments at the Banquet, Bar, Cafe Asiana, Continental, and Hot and Cold kitchens from May 6-31, 2025. They were also able to work closely with some Anihan graduates who are now employed at the Club.
Anihan is grateful to Chef Hans and the entire team at The Palms Country Club for this great opportunity!
