Anihan's Educational and Training Programs

I. Culinary Arts and Restaurant Services (CARS)

The Culinary Arts and Restaurant Services (CARS) is Anihan’s newest one-year technical-vocational scholarship program that prepares female senior high school (SHS) graduates for employment in the food service industry. Scholars of the program are provided with the necessary technical skills, life skills, and on-the-job training aligned with the needs of the industry. They are expected to acquire three (3) National Certificate Level II qualifications recognized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) upon finishing the course. These qualifications are Bread and Pastry Production (BPP), Cookery (COK), and Food and Beverage Services (FBS).

The CARS program believes that its scholars and future graduates will make a big difference in the food service industry owing to their fine skills, quality work, competence, and prime work values, above all.

Full Qualification in Cookery NC II (TESDA-registered)
Full Qualification in Food and Beverage Services NC II (TESDA-registered)

Scholarship Grants in Food Service

Anihan offers scholarship grants of up to 100% of tuition fees to qualified applicants based on their family income bracket. This is made possible by the contributions of donors, sponsors and Anihan’s industry partners where students do their on-the-job-training.

Miscellaneous and Other Fees

All who qualify as Anihan Senior High School students (scholars and paying students) will pay the following fees:

II. Watsons Apprenticeship Program (WAP)

The Watsons Apprenticeship Program (WAP) is a new program offering of Anihan in partnership with Watsons Philippines. The program consists of competencies that promote health care which include skills mastery in the following: general housekeeping, inventory, supply monitoring, handling, control, arrangement, display, and proper dispensation of pharmaceutical products. It is also committed to train its students in the performance of good laboratory practices, product knowledge on medicines, health promotion education, vigilance and adherence to good manufacturing practices.

Anihan dares to explore new grounds where its commitment to excellence and quality work can shine. Through WAP, we hope to serve the Human Health and Health Care Services sector and advance the cause of holistic human development.

Graduates of this six-month program (3 months in-school and 3 months on-the-job training) are assured of gainful employment in various Watsons branches in the country.

Anihan offers a full basic hands-on training in Bread and Pastry Production addressing the Core Competencies in TESDA’s training regulations.

Enrollment for the whole course is highly recommended. At the same time, each day is a stand-alone program so per-day participants may attend only on select days.
